Why did you choose UPEI?

I chose UPEI鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Applied Climate Change and Adaptation program because it鈥檚 new and unique鈥擨 knew I needed to be a part of it!

Additionally, UPEI has such a beautiful campus and history! It鈥檚 a great place to live, and there is something here for everyone to enjoy.

What do you like most about the program?

The program is so personal and involved. All my professors know who I am, and they鈥檙e invested in my success as a student. I think knowing my professors, and that they support me, is a vital component to my academic success.

How has your program prepared you for your career goals?

It鈥檚 definitely helping me learn to adapt to the inevitable impacts of climate change, but it's also broadened my views and my understanding of our natural world, and allowed me to improve my public speaking abilities and interact with lots of people to voice my ideas. 

What is the best thing about being at student at UPEI?

There is so much to do at UPEI. There are so many clubs and events to join and go to that you'll never be bored or without something to do. 

UPEI is so diverse, and extremely welcoming to incoming students. It's a great place to live and be, and I'm sure that there is something here for everyone to enjoy and take part in.
