School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences student Jeremy Thompson is a lifelong athlete. The UPEI Cross Country Running Team member and avid basketball player recently combined his passions for sport and computer science, conducting research to analyze athletic movements with a recurrent neural network.    

 

鈥淭he thing I like most about computer science is the amount of opportunities it provides you,鈥� says Thompson. 鈥淵ou really have opportunities to work in any field.鈥�
